For years, Johnsons Park in Milwaukee has had an image problem, but that's about to change.
Officials announced major renovations like new walking trails and splash pads.
Berms that shielded criminal activity will be torn down.
"Usually fights, some vandalism," said Bently Turner, who lives near the park. "Sometimes you will find alcohol bottles and other drug paraphernalia underneath some of the hidden areas."
The renovation project is expected to take several years.
